Abstract

The article deals with the study of the impact made by the granules flow constraint degree in the workspace of the multistage gravitational shelf dryer on the nanoporous structure of the ammonium nitrate granules. The necessity to introduce the final drying stage into the technology to produce the porous ammonium nitrate was justified. The experimental research data regarding the surface and internal structure of the granule with various relative content of granules in the dryer (degree of the flow constraint) were represented. The obtained results make the base to form the technological calculation of the final drying stage in the general technology to produce the porous ammonium nitrate.
