Abstract

A filtering SIW phase shifter based on through quartz vias (TQVs) technology is demonstrated in this paper. The passband filter operates in the quasi-TEM mode of the half-mode substrate integrated waveguide (HMSIW) resonator. The slot and complementary split-ring resonators (CSRRs) are etched on the top metal of the filter to adjust the performance of the passband and achieve phase shift. The filtering phase shifter is centered at 17.37 GHz with 10° and 30° phase shift and the fractional bandwidth of the filter is 10.6%.
