Abstract
The subject of my paper is figurative theatre, a genre of visual theatre of German origins, that is, as of now, little known in Hungary. My goal is to review the history of the genre, to examine its connections with related genres, such as performance, post-dramatic theatre and puppet theatre, and to analyse it stage techniques and phenomenological attachments.
