Abstract

The nova V368 Aquilae 1936 (668.1936 Aql = 192107) was discovered by N. Tamm on October 7, 1936 as a star of seventh magnitude, that was already about two weeks beyond maximum light. The light curve, constructed from observations by various observers, shows a rise to maximum about September 24, 1936 at magnitude 6.6 and, after declining to twelfth magnitude about 200 days later, shows rapid irregular variations ( Payne-Gaposchkin 1957). It is a typical fast nova for which only second-class data are available.
