Abstract

Advances in technology have changed the behavior of society. One of the changes is the need for speed of internet access to communicate. The application of fiber to home technology is considered to increase the speed of access in an internet network. Fiber to The Home access network using technology Gigabit Passive Optical Network (G-PON) technology is one of the technologies for high speed with multiple service advantages and large bandwidth that supports voice, data, dan video. The design results show that the designation for Graha Padma Housing used 1ODC, 24 ODP, and 192 ONT by using a 1:8 splitter. The GPON network has a transmission speed of 1.2 Gbps for upstream and 2.4 Gbps for Downstream. Network performance analysis at a wavelength of 1310 nm link power budget value is -8.34 dBm and a rise time budget is 0.26 ns. At a wavelength of 1490 nm, the value of the link power budget is <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$-8.17 dBm$</tex> and a rise time budget is 0.25 ns. The value is still said to be worthy because it is still above -28 dBm.
