Abstract
The study presents the results of a survey conducted among young people in secondary school in Miercurea-Ciuc, which investigated young people's attitudes towards rurality. The results of the data collection are presented in four thematic areas: opinions on the countryside, arguments in favour of rural lifestyle, barriers to choosing a rural lifestyle, and the target group's perception of what factors of the area under study would be valuable for a foreigner.
