Abstract
Two cases of children with bilateral femoral hernias that were repaired by the Cooper's ligament method are presented. The literature regarding cause and treatment of femoral hernia is reviewed. The Cooper's ligament repair is believed to be the technic of choice, since it effectively closes the femoral ring in an anatomic fashion. With the use of small instruments and sutures and appropriate delicacy in handling of tissues, this repair is applicable to infants and children.
