Abstract

The aim of this article was to investigate the configuration of scientific production on job happiness, taking as source the main international databases, the ISI Web of Science (WOS) and Scopus, in the 2011-2020 timeframe. From a methodological point of view, the study was developed following the laws of Bradford, Lotka and Zipf in search of the main authors and their productivity, related topics covered and their evolution in the period 2011-2020. Data were processed using R and Excel® software. The study results allow us to state that happiness at work is being considered as part of the well-being construct in the main publications on the subject. However, it is necessary to consider happiness “in the organizational environment”, not just “at work”, appropriating the term happiness and developing a new construct of the concept.
