Abstract

The necessity to analyze the social assistance practices within the social-humanitarian studies in Russia is caused by the current social processes in the country: public discontent, conflict of public and individual interests. The article focuses on specific features of social assistance practices, describes their role in the life of the contemporary society that undergoes transformation. The author completed a serious study related to the impact of various objective and subjective conditions and social assistance activities on the arrangement of the societal rehabilitation environment. The article highlights positive impacts of social assistance practices, such as: consolidation, stability and balance. The study shows that in the contemporary Russian society that undergoes transformation we observe modeling of social relations in space and in time, based on social assistance practices (Social assistance practices are aimed at extending non-repayable help, support, charity, mutual exchanges).
