Abstract

Subject of the study: psychological features of the manifestation of anxiety and depressive symptoms of participants in military operations. Objective: to identify individual psychological features of the manifestation of anxiety and depressive symptoms in participants of military operations. Development of a step-by-step system of psychoprophylactic and psychocorrective recommendations for reducing and overcoming the manifestation of anxiety and depressive symptoms in combat participants. Main research objectives: 1. Conduct a theoretical analysis of the manifestation of anxiety and depressive symptoms in participants of military operations. 2. To consider and analyze the individual psychological features of the manifestation of anxiety and depressive symptoms in participants of military operations. 3. To identify the relationship of anxiety and depressive symptoms with the socio-demographic data of participants in military operations. 4. Based on the results obtained, develop a system of recommendations for psychoprophylaxis, psychocorrection, and further social rehabilitation to reduce and overcome anxiety and depressive symptoms in combat participants. The practical significance of the study lies in further psychological assistance to participants in military operations. Socio-psychological adaptation of participants in military operations who have suffered the traumatic impact of factors of the combat situation is an extremely urgent problem, because mental disorders associated with stress during military operations are one of the main internal barriers to adaptation to peaceful life.
