Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the role of educational and production practices in the system of practical training. Students' practice involves the continuity and sequence of its implementation while obtaining the necessary and sufficient amount of practical knowledge and skills necessary for future work. It was established that mastering modern methods, forms of organization and tools of work in the field of their future profession will highly effectively contribute to the formation of students' professional skills and abilities for making independent decisions during specific work in real market and production conditions, fostering the need to systematically renew their knowledge and creatively apply them in further practical activities.
 It is recognized that the implementation of practices in real-time conditions cannot be compared in terms of efficiency and effectiveness with practices implemented using distance learning methods, but taking into account the challenges of today, the use of distance technologies is the optimal way to fully implement the training of a highly professional ecologist.
