Abstract
The article studies the problem of planning and land surveying projects’ approval procedure for the purpose of placement the linear facilities. Its relevance is induced by the high complexity and large volume of work performed. The present study is aimed at finding the possible ways to optimize and improve the documentation approval procedure on territorial planning. For this purpose, technical specifications of the engineering structures affecting the features of documentation approval procedure have been determined, and information on the timeline and the order of going through the approval procedure at various state government bodies having the power in the field of control and management of the territories and for which the documentation on the territorial planning is being prepared was analysed.
