Abstract

The features of modeling out-of-furnace processing of liquid steel for building structures are considered. The influence of the intensity of gas supply and the depth of immersion of the tuyere into the pouring ladle on the duration of steel homogenization is studied. A review of the current state of the processes of out-of-furnace treatment of liquid steel with gases is given. Based on the results of physical modeling, the effect of out-of-furnace treatment on the structures and properties of liquid steel is established.
