Abstract

The article deals with the problem of the relationship between goal-setting and tolerance to uncertainty at the initial stages of professiogenesis. It is emphasized that the stage of professional training with a low stress tolerance of a student shortens the time horizon and reduces learning motivation. The analysis of the main approaches to understanding the problem of the formation of a single culture is given. The authors cite the results of an empirical study of the features of goal-setting and stress resistance showed that the majority of students are characterized by average levels of target flexibility and tolerance to uncertainty, a connection is found between fear of the future and constraint by fear. However, while these tendencies persist, differences are found in boys and girls, which leads to the need to differentiate psychological options of support of professional and personal development, taking into account the gender of students. In conclusion, an analysis of the main trends in the development of natural science education is given.
