Abstract

The article presents the results of a study on the characteristics of professional burnout among employees of fire safety organisations. The research methods are: “The Measurement of Experienced Burnout” methodology (C. Maslach, S. Jackson, adapted by N. E. Vodopyanova); the “Causes of Emotional Discomfort” questionnaire (L. V. Kulikov); the “Assessment of Professional Stress” methodology (Weissman questionnaire). The analysis of the research results, as well as data processing using the Mann-Whitney U-test showed that among employees in the field fire safety with different work experience, there are significant differences on the scales: the low level of depersonalisation, concern about the reliability of the place of work, lack of rest, dissatisfaction with relationships with friends and acquaintances, professional stress.
