Abstract

The article makes a brief excursion into the history of the development and formation of various types of art such as painting and sculpture from the time of Ancient Egypt. The question of the canon in sculpture and painting is considered. It also reveals the main features and methods of using the synthesis of arts (painting, sculpture, stained glass, artistic ceramics, etc.) in the formation of modern interior space in residential and public architecture. A brief analysis of the state of contemporary art and ways of further development is performed.
