Abstract

본 연구는 팔금도를 대상으로 한 염전 면적의 변천사 연구이다. 연구의 기초자료는 팔금도의 최초 염전 원형인 자염 터의 위치와 면적의 기록을 통해 조사하였다. 이후 근대화된 소금 생산방식인 천일염전으로 변천되는 과정에서 정부의 정 책에 따라 신규 염전의 조성에 따른 염전 면적의 확장과 수없이 진행된 분할, 합병을 비롯하여 폐전 정책으로 축소된 전 과정의 염전 면적 변천사를 연구하였다. 팔금도 염전 면적의 변천사 연구는 우리나라 최초 지적 원도와 토지대장(구대장, 카드대장, 전산 대장 포함)과 등기부 등본(구 등기, 폐쇄등기 포함)의 전수 조사를 기초로 진행한 연구로 향후 진행될 제염관련 지역사 연구와도 연계될수 있을 것으로 생각된다.This research is intended for the study on the changes in the area of torison based on Palgeumdo.
