Abstract

The priority of the Russian scientific school in research new structures of parts from metal powders made using electrohydraulic processing is shown. Simultaneously with the achievement of new structures by means of stamping, powder parts are given the required shapes. In the manufacture of powder parts such as cups, the combination of cold forging and electrohydraulic processing opens up new opportunities in increasing the high density of parts at the stage preceding sintering, increasing the depth of the cavity, and reducing the wall thickness of parts. In particular, this makes it possible to make from not passed sintering semi-finished products thin slice for metallographic studies. This technology allows unlimited alloying of iron powder with powders of other metals and the manufacture of deep thin-walled glasses from unique powder steels.
