Abstract
To verify the value of space syntax theory in the analysis of the internal space of building, this paper takes a large library as an example, discusses and analyzes the internal space of the built public library building by using space syntax, tests the design of the public library unit which meets the functional requirements, and improves the utilization rate of library space through collaborative research. We focus on the evaluation of the use efficiency of library building space, and through tracking observation, questionnaire survey and other methods, to further analyze and compare the user's behavior and feelings. By the quantitative analysis of space syntax and the comparison of its usage, it is found that the results of quantitative analysis of space syntax are highly consistent with the survey results, and it is consistent with the actual use feelings of teachers and students in the building. It also shows that the space quantitative analysis method based on space syntax theory is feasible for the analysis of existing building space, and the analysis results have high reference value.
