Abstract

A periodic finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) algorithm is implemented for the analysis of infrared frequency selective surface (FSS) filter. This method incorporates the Z-transform technique along with a constant wave number PBC procedure to model the infrared FSS structures. The results show that for FSS structures at infrared wavelength, the angle of incidence has a significant impact on the transmission spectrum
