Abstract

The orbital software FAUST with its multi-arc multi-satellite capability is illustrated for simultaneous computations of TOPEX/Poseidon and ERS using SLR, DORIS and PRARE tracking. The multi-arcs are bridged by single satellite crossovers with dual satellite crossovers making the connection between the different satellite orbits. The software has been used to generate a gravity field enhancement of JGM-3 utilising TOPEX/Poseidon and ERS-1 data. The field has been compared against JGM-3 for TOPEX/Poseidon, ERS and GFZ-1 orbits. Additional computations of GFZ-1 compare several thermospheric models for this low satellite.
