Abstract

For the fault location problem of a radial distribution network, the existing method is single, and the accuracy in practical applications is low, which is difficult to meet on-site needs. A fault location method of a distribution network based on multi-method fusion is proposed. After the fault occurs, the initial fault location is first obtained by the matrix method, probability estimation method and artificial intelligence method. Then the initial fault location result is processed and integrated through improved evidence theory. Finally, the final fault location result is obtained according to the decision criteria. This method is less affected by information missing and information false positive, and is adaptable to the situation of multiple faults, and gives alternatives. Finally, the feasibility of the method is proved by simulation analysis.
