Abstract

DC traction power supply system is the power source of metro train operation. On the one hand, the protection of DC traction power supply system should meet the operation requirements of high-density metro train. On the other hand, it should be considered that once the OCS of traction power supply system has short-circuit fault at the near end, middle and far end, it should trip quickly to ensure the safety of train, equipment and passengers. Therefore, this paper first establishes the mathematical analysis modeling of traction network, then establishes the steady-state and transient circuits of traction power supply system based on linear circuit theory, and finally completes the simulation modeling and analysis of DC side fault under multi machine condition based on MATLAB / Simulink. It can provide important reference data for on-site protection setting calculation, power supply system scheme design and electrical equipment selection, and has great significance of theoretical analysis and research.
