Abstract

In order to meet the requirements of lightweight structure design of exoskeleton robot, this paper proposes a T700 carbon fiber exoskeleton leg component based on composite material. By analyzing the function and characteristic of the leg component, a new kind of leg component combined with titanium alloy and T700 carbon fiber was designed. The fatigue performance of the new leg component was tested. The results show that no fatigue failure occurs when the leg component are repeatedly loaded 50 times in the direction of 90° and 45° and the loading force is 2000N. The failure tensile test shows that when the loading load reaches 1700N, fracture failure occurs and the connection interface is destroyed.
