Abstract

The factors influencing the fatigue failure of metals and alloys are investigated. To increase the resource and reliability of products made of metals and alloys, taking into account their operation conditions and the presence of a corrosive environment, when justifying the selection of a structural material, it is proposed to take into account its deflection curve under cyclic loading.
