Abstract

In this work, studies were carried out on the features of fatigue failure and the disappearance of an aluminum alloy of grade 1163 with a coating formed on a sample by the method of microarc oxidation. The oxide-coated and uncoated samples were subjected to cyclic loading with simultaneous recording of acoustic frequency signals. Acoustic emission acoustic frequency as a non-destructive testing method is widely used in various industries to involve injuries. The results of experimental studies show that the nature of fatigue damage accumulation is recorded by the parameters of AE signals, probably. Presumably, early signs of cracks and irreversible damage have been identified, and features of the destruction of hard coatings are manifested even without them. The requirement for the acoustic emission parameter KWD was proposed by the method of predicting the fatigue protection of aluminum alloys with and without microarc oxidation oxide coating.
