Abstract
This study was conducted to examine the experiences of fathers who experienced loss of income during the Covid-19 pandemic. A phenomenological approach, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was selected in the study and it was deemed appropriate to use a 'Semi-Structured Interview Form' as a data collection tool. This research was conducted based on the consent of the participants and 15 fathers from different professional groups were interviewed throughout the study. In the study, fathers' experiences during the Covid-19 process, changes in their relationships with their children, and the effects of being away from work life were discussed. The findings obtained as a result of the interviews were transferred to the Word program and analyzed with the descriptive analysis method. According to the results of the study, the fathers emphasized that although the loss of income during the COVID-19 process was psychologically and economically difficult for them, they observed positive effects on their communication with their children.
