Abstract

In 1933, during a conference at the Institute of Fascist Culture in Salerno, Emanuele Ciaceri, professor of Ancient History at the University of Naples, proposes an unusual comparison between Pythagorism and Fascism, hypothesizing that the Pythagoreans may have been precursors of the Mussolinian movement.
