Abstract
The Natural Law doctrine has played a prominent role in thoughts and history, its essence cuts across civilizations, legal systems and religion. Family law is not left out in this setting; the family is the smallest unit of a society; God created the family as the first institution and over the years, issues have evolved from the family and family law as it were. This paper will attempt to analyze the relationship between family law and natural law. This paper will attempt to discuss some legal instruments that reflect natural law principles. This paper will make use of primary and secondary sources of information.
