Family Across Prison Walls: a Different Perspective on Incarceration

Abstract

Over the past 15 years, people the the Association of Penitentiary Patronat have helped families of persons detained (most often the wives and children). This article describes what is done and what should be done the area to help people this situation, as well as the most common problems families who are trying to maintain the bonds of closeness in spite of walls and barriers.
