Abstract
This article is a comparative analysis between the scientific epistemologies of two authors who are fundamental in twentieth-century philosophy of science, Gaston Bachelard and Karl Popper. As it will be seen, there are points of contact between the positions here presented. But thare are also fundamental dibergencies which help us understand in better detail that which the Anglo-Saxon tradition usually calls models of “scientific practice”.
