Abstract
Abstract Corn was planted 19 Jun at the Research and Education Center, Princeton, KY. Plots were 20 ft × 4 rows with 15 ft alley between blocks with 40 inch rows. Treatments were replicated 3 times in a randomized complete block design. On 25 Jul insecticide treatments were applied. All formulations were sprayed with a portable CO2 sprayer, at 30 psi utilizing 8004 flat fan nozzles delivering 26 gal/ acre. Plots were sampled at 24 h and 5 obviously damaged plants/plot were examined for the presence of live insects. The no. of plants with any live larvae and the no. of live larvae/plant were recorded.
