Abstract

The purpose of the study is to identify the youth offenders factor in crime and to explore youth offender’s opinion of community service order. A total of 6 youth offenders are chosen as the respondent of this study. Qualitative research method, which is case study, is utilized. The data is gathered through document analyses, observations and interviews. At the end of the study, it is determined that individual negligence, family conflict and unsuccessful road transport act are youth offenders behaviour factors. The study also demonstrated the positive opinion of community service order. Finally, respondent involved in crime thought positively of community service order. In conclusion, the study has shown the community service order has increased the sense of the youth offenders effectively. The implementation of community service order has increased effectively the sense of effectiveness among the youth offenders.
