Abstract

Pregnancy and childbirth is a process that can cause changes in a woman's body physiologically and psychologically. Anxiety describes a feeling of anxiety, worry, the perception of restlessness and restlessness accompanied by physical symptoms. Anxiety is part of the emotional response of subjective individual judgments whose condition is influenced by the subconscious. This study aims to determine the factors related to the anxiety of pregnant women in the third trimester in facing childbirth in the working area of ​​the Mekarsari Health Center, Banyuasin Regency. This study uses an analytical survey quantitative research design with a cross sectional design approach. This research was conducted in the working area of ​​the Mekarsari Health Center in July-August 2021 with a total of 56 respondents who were interviewed directly using a questionnaire. From the results of the chi-square test obtained P-value (0.000) < (0.05), which means that there is a significant relationship between therapeutic communication and anxiety in third trimester pregnant women, the results of the chi-square test obtained P-value (0.003) < (0, 05), which means that there is a significant relationship between husband's support and the anxiety of pregnant women in the third trimester, the results of the chi-square test obtained P value (0.000) < (0.05), which means that there is a significant relationship between parity and anxiety of pregnant women in the third trimester.
