Data processing is done using the Eviews 9 application with the data analysis technique used is the panel data estimation model selection (common effect, fixed effect, random effect), classical assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, heteroscedasticity test), hypothesis test (t test, F test, determination coefficient test), and panel data multiple regression test. The results obtained indicate that there is no effect of labor and population by partial test on economic growth in Sumatra Island. Meanwhile, unemployment has an effect on economic growth partially. So that simultaneously it can be concluded that labor, total population, and unemployment together (simultaneously) have no effect on economic growth.
