Abstract

The study was designed with the retrospective method because in this study conducted a search for the factors blamed for stunting malnutrition in children under 5 years of age. As a control, the search will also be conducted on children under 5 years of normal nutritional status (no stunting) for use as a positive learning devians. This study will then be used as a basis for recommending strategies and child nutrition intervention programs under five years according to the characteristics of the region as well as the socio-cultural character of the community in the area of ​​type dryland farming.
