Abstract
This symposium examines the role of faith in management scholarship and practice through integrating the perspectives of authors from a variety of faith traditions and across a range of management disciplines. The introductory paper presentation will provide a rationale for considering faith in scholarship and practice and provide an exemplar from leadership. Additional paper presentations from pairs of recognized scholars will provide a sampling of ideas and implications for faith as it relates to the areas of organization and management theory, entrepreneurship, and organizational behavior and human resources. A concluding paper addresses the challenge of fundamentalism and, in response, affirms humility as an essential virtue expressed in practicing faith, theological reflection, and interfaith dialogue.
