Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze the concept of activities of the director of the institution of preschool and to determine the factors of effective management of the director of the institution of preschool education. Methods of research used: general scientific (studying scientific literature, dissertation papers, analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, generalization, classification, comparison) that made it possible to reveal the factors of effective management activity of the director of the institution of preschool education.The analysis of the problem of effective management of the institution of pre-school education is carried out. The main factors of effective management of the director of the institution of preschool education are considered. The concept of activity of the director of the institution of preschool education, competence of the director of the institution of preschool is analyzed. The model of behavioral qualities of the director of the institution of preschool education is described. The researches of scientists who were engaged in studying the problem of effective management activity of the director of the institution of preschool education in the theory and practice of education management were analyzed. It has been found out that the modern director of the institution of preschool education should be knowledgeable in the science of management, various specific fields and be able to practice their knowledge, skills and abilities. It is established that the management of a pre-school institution means the purposeful influence on the pedagogical team, and through it – on the educational process in order to achieve maximum results in the development of children of preschool age, where a significant role is played by the managerial decision. It is revealed that in the process of administrative activity, every director of the institution of pre-school education establishes managerial competence, which is based on knowledge, experience, reflecting the socio-professional status and managerial qualification, as well as personal and individual peculiarities for the realization of professional activity.
