Abstract

The popularity of the notion of sustainable development has increased immensely in today's fast-paced business environment. The public's awareness of various sustainability challenges around the world has also increased, and also most people are well-versed in them. We also require qualified managers who can contribute to the overall growth and development of society. In response to the worldwide call for action, management education institutions should maintain their curriculum up to date to meet industrial requirements as well as the changing environmental and social needs of people all over the world. The integration of the concept of sustainable development in management education will help in the creation of a sustainable culture in our society, encouraging every individual to start behaving responsibly and contribute to positive social change. The purpose of this study is to identify the major factors that influence the integration of the concept of sustainable development and sustainability in management education in India.
