Abstract
The paper deals with the project KEGA 026STU-4/2011 Quality Evaluation Model of Vocational Education and Training at secondary vocational schools in Slovakia. The aim of project is to create assumptions for development of an independent and institutional system, which will create and apply an open, flexible and adaptable quality management system of formal education through benchmarking and quality mark. It includes the creation of specialized portal with support services that will provide insight and specific information in the field of quality management in vocational education to interested persons. Based on collected information and analysis we identified quality evaluation indicators at secondary vocational schools. Next part of the paper is focussed on burnout syndrome. Our study focuses on the impact of burnout syndrome on secondary vocational teachers in Slovakia and in some other countries.
