Abstract

Abstract The composting of instant coffee industrial residue was studied taking in to consideration some biotic and abiotic factors with and without the utilization of inocula. The utilization of inocula reduced decomposition time and increased temperature , pH and numbers of microorganisms during composting. The best residue degradation was obtained with an inoculum consisting of ground chicken flesh and orange peel.
