Abstract
This study investigates the factor structure and reliability of the Romanian translation of a modified version of the Behavioural Regulation Exercice Questionnaire 2 (BREQ-2; Markland & Tobin, 2004) that additionally included the Integrated Motivation Scale (Wilson, Rodgers, Loitz, & Scime, 2006). The participants were 552 Romanian adolescens. Confirmatory factor analysis reveals that the correlated 5-factor structure including the integrated, external, introiected, identified and intrinsic regulation, S-Bχ2(142) = 417.72, p <. 001, *RMSEA = .059, *CFI = .943, SRMR = .05, fitted better compared to other models tested. All the subscales showed an adequate reliability (α > .70).
