Abstract

In Wolfgang Rudig's review of Nuclear Power and Public Opinion (Physics Bulletin June 1987 p230) his comments are based on two claims: (i) 'Opposition (to nuclear power) may not be entirely based on irrationality.' He further says that this 'is now recognised', (ii) 'Pro- and anti-nuclear attitudes tend to be unrelated to levels of knowledge on nuclear technology'.
