Abstract

The composite adsorbents with super-microporous mesoporous structure were synthesized via one-step process. The results showed that the composite adsorbents exhibited uniform spherical particles which formed uniform pore size distribution in the range of 1.48–4.15 nm. When the molar ratio of magnesium to zirconium is 0.5, the composite adsorbent showed the biggest CO2 adsorption capacity of 3.01 mmol/g at the adsorption temperature of 75 ℃ and the intake flow rate of 60 mL/min with the fixed-bed catalytic reaction device under atmospheric pressure. After three cycle tests, the adsorption capacity of the adsorbent for CO2 was still 97.3 %, indicating that good adsorption stability.
