Abstract
Silica coated bismuth sulfide (Bi 2S 3) nanorods have been prepared by a simple coating process. The coating resulted in the improved stability and luminescent intensity of the Bi 2S 3 nanorods. Hollow silica nanotubes were also obtained by using Bi 2S 3 nanorods as a removal template.
