Abstract

Herein, porous C and g-C3N4 composites (C/CN) with enhanced photocatalytic activity are prepared via facile one-pot process by using hydroxymethylated melamine as carbon source and soft template. The results show that the specific surface area of C/CN-0.5 is much higher than that of CN, and the kinetic constant of MB degradation over C/CN-0.5 is 0.00851min−1, which is 1.9 times higher than that of CN. Finally, the possible photocatalytic mechanism of MB degradation is proposed.
