Abstract
Hybrid zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (HZIFs) have become promising porous materials like ZIF-8 and ZIF-67. Presented here is one facile method for the rapid and scalable synthesis of HZIFs. According to this method, HZIFs can be easily synthesized at ambient pressure, low temperature (50 °C), in very short time (30 min) and on a large scale (ca. 4 g) through heating mixture of reactants in DMF solvent. The samples exhibited similar surface areas but higher catalytically activity than former ones. In addition, the –CHO functional HZIF-1 can also be obtained under similar condition. These results will lay a solid foundation for further application of these promising materials.
