Abstract

A paraffin-loaded microcapsule with tetraethyl orthosilicate and fluorosilane as the shell was successfully prepared, which was subsequently combined with the silicone resin emulsion in an appropriate ratio to obtain waterborne multifunctional fabric coatings. The coating not only exhibited excellent superhydrophobicity and resistance to abrasion, acid/alkali, aging and surfactant, but also performed good thermal insulation.
