Abstract Results are discussed for photoelectric scans with a Fabry-Perot interferometer of 12 planetary nebulae that are linearly small and possibly in an early stage of evolution. The scans were performed around the H-alpha line at 6563 A and the forbidden O III line at 5007 A with an effective velocity resolution for point sources of about 11 km/s (FWHM). Previous radio, optical, and infrared observations of the 12 objects are reviewed. Mass motions implied by the Fabry-Perot profiles are examined, and five objects are identified which have been previously observed to show a stellar continuum.
