Abstract
A novel multilayer film containing quaternized poly(4-vinylpyridine) complexed with [Os(bpy)2CI]+/2+(POs) was achieved on the surface of glassy carbon electrode modified with branched poly(ethylenimine)(PEI) by alternate deposition of POs with sodium poly(styrene-sulfonate)(PSS). The electrochemical behavior of the multilayer film electrode is described. The catalytic effect of the multilayer film electrode on the oxidation of L-cysteine is studied.
